Natron Healthcare’s method of healthcare education is designed for all levels of providers and outreach workers who wish to strengthen their communication skills and personal connection to their patients and communities.
Before Natron, the Maasai had poor experiences with healthcare:
“They are sneering at us,” a Maasai woman describes the care she received at a local hospital.
“The Maasai are dirty and uneducated,” a nurse at a clinic serving primarily Maasai people.
We recognize that how we communicate is as important as what we communicate.
Drawing from 40 years of experience as educators, medical practitioners and communicators, our approach focuses on closing the problematic sensitivity gap between providers and communities through the development of soft skills and a practical, engaging, self-starting pedagogy.
We deliver our education platform either directly to communities or through personal training to enable providers to do this themselves.
