While continuing to support demand-driven healthcare service in remote Lake Natron, Tanzania, Natron Healthcare has developed an effective, culturally sensitive education
method for healthcare providers seeking to improve health education for their patients, their communities – and themselves.
“Every teaching was very clear to the people and now the people are practicing your teachings. All the pictures were well understood and loved by the people.” – Magadini village resident reflecting on Natron Healthcare’s 13 year involvement
Through our shared work with the villagers of Magadini and Wosiwosi in Natron and drawing on our own extensive experience, we create bespoke, engaging education modules on a wide variety of key healthcare issues; and we improve the delivery of this information by providers through personal development.
Through our grass roots work in the communities, we continue to support childhood nutrition through
school lunches,
vitamins and deworming; education through the
Mabel Rankin Scholarship for Girls; as well as women’s health and community health through on-going education initiatives.
